Blog : Charleston Portrait Photographer
So the last couple of weeks have been filled with holidays and friends getting married. Braiden and Kelly went to Winthrop University together where they became friends. I was beyond excited to photograph both of their weddings the last two weeks.
Kelly and Cale married in Newberry, SC and Braiden and Cip married last weekend in Charleston. I could not think of a better way to end 2013 but with friends. Congrats to all:)
Alex was married in September to Scott and a little bit before we met to take her bridal portrait at Lowndes Grove Plantation www.patpropllc.com. With a gorgeous bride and a stunning location, I might have been one of the luckiest photographers in the world that day! Here are a few from our session.
There were so many fun things at Ross and Julie’s wedding over the weekend. They were married at the Island House on John’s Island www.islandhouseevents.com/ but we started with a first glance downtown. A family friend had made them a giant adirondack chair for pictures and the wild flowers were blooming down at the Island House. Congrats Julie and Ross!
As their first anniversary approaches, I wanted to celebrate one of my favorite couples from last year. Laura and Graham were married at the French Hugenot Church www.frenchchurch.org with a reception at Lowndes Grove Plantation www.patpropllc.com.
There were so many special and beautiful touches to this wedding, it’s hard to show them all. Lizz at Southern Protocol www.southernprotocol.com planned an absolute stunner. Here are some more of the incredible people involved in this one: Pamela Lesch www.makeupartistcharleston.com, Hunter at www.updocharleston.com, Anne at Stems www.charlestonstems.com, Lauren at Wildflour www.wildflourpastrycharleston.com/, www.scotticlinedesigns.com and Uncle Funkal www.myspace.com/unclefunkal. Happy Anniversary Laura and Graham!!
A big congratulations, to Teresa and Ashley who were married recently at the beautiful Ocean Course at Kiawah (pics to follow soon.) We met a few weeks before the wedding for her bridal portrait. She is just gorgeous and we were blessed with a little fall weather for the portrait. It was one of those sessions where I feel so lucky to be able to photograph in such a magnificent city with some amazing people like Teresa.
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s day than to show a really sweet Engagement Session from over the weekend. Christina and Eddie are going to be married next Month and I am so excited to photograph their wedding! The weather here in Charleston is just gorgeous and we took full advantage of it on this session. We walked all around downtown and enjoyed the fresh air- almost Spring- Yay! Here are a few from the session:
My friend Lyn just had a baby a few weeks ago and I went over her house yesterday to photograph him. He is so cute and tiny. His big brother Grant was there to help with the pictures. Lyn is one of the co-founders of New for Baby www.newforbaby.com so of course he was the hippest baby I have ever seen!
