Spring weddings here in Charleston are beautiful, but sometimes, there are a few afternoon sprinkles to work around. For Amy and Jonathan’s day, it poured buckets but the skies cleared at the perfect moment for the ceremony. Amy and Jonathan were married outside of Founder’s Hall www.foundershallcharleston.com under a blue sky. Amy and Jonathan are friends with a past bride and groom of mine and it was wonderful to see Erika and Michael again too! Check out the vintage Packard that we got to use for a few pics- so cool. Congrats Amy and Jonathan!
Lindsey recently married Brandon (pics to follow soon.) Now that she is a married woman and Brandon has seen her in her gorgeous dress I can share a few from her Bridal Portrait. Makeup done by the uber-talented Pamela Lesch www.makeupartistcharleston.com and flowers were done by Stems www.charlestonstems.com. Lindsey made one of the most gorgeous brides ever, and with Lowndes Grove as a backdrop, I was in photographer heaven. Congrats to Lindsey and Brandon!
As much as I love photographing weddings in Charleston, it is fun to do destination weddings too! Kat and Cedar were married down in beautiful Cancun, Mexico and I was thrilled to photograph it. Mexico has the most vibrant colors, including the sparkling blue ocean. I loved all the personal touches, including the hand painted maracas, and the cake topper. Kat and Cedar even had a mariachi band come to the reception. The weekend was full of fun and laughs and I was honored to document it. Congrats to Kat and Cedar!
