I met Amy and Jonathon for the first time a little over a year ago when I was photographing their friend’s wedding (Erika and Michael.) Erika and Michael were awesome to photograph, so fun and relaxed and after spending the morning with Amy and Jonathon, I realized they are too! We met early in the morning to avoid the heat and it had rained the night before and left a really great puddle on the street that we took advantage of for a few pictures. I am so so excited for their wedding in March. Congrats to Amy and Jonathon!

Lindsey and Brandon flew in the night before our early morning engagement session. Normally, this would have been ok, except their plane was so delayed, that they only ended up getting a couple of hours sleep that night. I felt so bad. They still looked gorgeous – even with only a few hours sleep. I am so excited for the wedding this spring. Congrats to Lindsey and Brandon!
This was a wedding, I had been looking forward to for a long time! Rachel and Brad were married June 11, at St. Mary’s Church www.catholic-doc.org/saintmarys with a reception at the gorgeous William Aiken House www.patpropllc.com. Luke at Luke Wilson Special Events www.lukesevents.com planned this awesome day. Rachel was just stunning www.slsalon.com and their band was one of my favorites- Quiana Parlor and Friends-www.quianaparlerandfriends.com. The cake was so detailed and delicate www.weddingcakesbyjimsmeal.com. A special thank you to my second photographer Emily- for all her hard work on this wedding with me. She captured that great shot of Brad and his groomsmen. This wedding was so full of details, I had a hard time narrowing down which ones to show! Congrats to Rachel and Brad!
Now that she is a married woman – I can share some from Nikki’s bridal portrait session. Her dress was AMAZING and from Maddison Row www.maddisonrow.com. Her hair was done by Hunter at Salon 101 www.101spring.com and Leslie Moore did her flawless makeup www.mooremakeup.com. Her bouquet was done by Anne at Stems www.charlestonstems.com. We started off downtown and then headed to the Legare Waring House www.legarewaringhouse.com where the wedding was held (Pics to come soon!) Nikki makes the most gorgeous bride! Congrats Nikki!
Rachel and Brad’s Rehearsal dinner was on June 10 and it was so pretty- I had to post some. The Rehearsal dinner was held at the Old Rice Mill building www.goodfoodcatering.net and was planned by Luke Wilson Special events www.lukesevents.com. Flowers were by Katie Bell at Timeless Designs www.timelessdesignsonline.com. It was such a gorgeous night- just wait until you see the wedding!! Congrats Rachel and Brad!
On June 4th, Amy married Justin at the Summerall Chapel www.citadel.edu/chapel in Charleston, SC. Justin had graduated from the Citadel, so the Chapel held a special significance for him. They had a reception that followed at the Old Exchange Building www.oldexchange.org. What a gorgeous day planned by Sara at Southern Protocol www.southernprotocol.com. This was my first time that I have seen Whitney at Branch’s floral designs www.branchdesignstudio.com and I was impressed with her bold and fragrant flowers. It looked so pretty in the Reception hall at the Old Exchange that it moved Amy’s mom to tears. The cake table and the mantle of flowers around it was especially beautiful www.wildflourpastrycharleston.com. Congrats to Amy and Justin!
On Saturday May 21, Nicole and David were married on Folly Beach, SC. Nicole and David met on the Solstice, and it seems quite appropriate to me- they are both sunny and full of life. They had “solstice” inscribed on their rings that fit together in the neatest little puzzle. With the help of Duvall www.eventsbyduvall.com and Lee Edwards Entertainment www.leeedwardsentertainment.com everyone at the wedding had an awesome time. Nicole’s hair was done by the fabulous Hunter at Salon 101 www.101spring.com and she was just glowing. Her twin sister and matron of honor was also glowing- but for a different reason (she was 8 months pregnant). One of the best parts of the day was when they gave each other a high five right after being pronounced husband and wife. Congrats to Nicole and David!
