I have been dying to share Kelly’s Bridal portrait but did not want to post until after she was married. Kelly and Mike were married last weekend at Lowndes Grove www.patpropllc.com (pics to come soon). We did her bridal portrait at Lowndes Grove and it was a blast. Sara at Southern Protocol www.southernprotocol.com came to style the shoot and the talented Pamela Lesch www.makeupartistcharleston.com did her beautiful makeup. Congratulations Kelly- you made a beautiful bride!

Liz and Tom were married Saturday May 14 at the Governor Thomas Bennett House www.governorthomasbennetthouse.com. Liz and Tom might be the two most laid back people that I have ever worked with. With their sunny personalities and bright flowers www.timelessdesignsonline.com, it was fitting that during the reception the most amazing double rainbow came out of the sky. I think the food was some of the prettiest I have ever seen at a wedding www.goodfoodcatering.net. The cake and the groom’s cake (check out how amazing the groom’s cake was!!) were done by www.cakesbykasarda.com. Catherine Bruce was the day of planner that was so great to work with. Dave Landeo Band www.davidlandeo.com kept the dance floor packed. Great bride and groom, great wedding!! Congrats Liz and Tom!
When Will moved to a new school in the 6th grade, guess who gave him his very first tour around the school? Brittany! They have been together ever since. Brittany and Will were married May 13, 2011 at Lowndes Grove Plantation www.patpropllc.com. Even though they were married on Friday the 13th, everything about their day was lucky. Beautiful spring weather, Anne’s Flowers www.charlestonstems.com and the always awesome Lizz at Southern Protocol www.southernprotocol.com planned the entire event. The invitations were so elegant and pretty www.scotticlinedesigns.com. Brittany’s makeup was done by my favorite makeup artist Pamela Lesch www.makeupartistcharleston.com and Hair by Hunter at Salon 101 Spring www.101spring.com. The Reality Show Band www.eastcoastentertainment.com/…/Reality_Show_Band.html was a hit at the reception. What a great day. Congrats to Brittany and Will!
Last weekend was a busy one! Here are the stats- 3 Weddings, 3 days, 3 amazing brides and grooms, 3 different venues, 17 bridesmaids, 3 junior bridesmaids, 15 groomsmen, 3 flower girls, 1 ringbearer, 1 double rainbow, and over 7000 images shot between Emily and I. Congratulations to Brittany & Will, Liz & Tom, and Ashley & Chris! Here is a sneak peek of the weddings- more to come soon!
On Saturday Sara and Lucas were married at the Seabrook Island Club www.discoverseabrook.com. This was my first time photographing a wedding on Seabrook and I fell in love with this venue right away. The Ocean club is so pretty and this is where the ceremony was held. There were dolphins swimming right in front of us. My second photographer Emily captured that awesome shot of the bride and her brother as they were about to walk down the aisle. Flowers were done by Tiger Lily www.tigerlilyflorist.com. The evening was coordinated by Kathleen Rogers who also happens to write an amazing wedding blog www.weddingswaterside.com. The band Atlanta Rhythm and Groove was unbelievably good- so good that guests left their main courses untouched to get on the dance floor! www.eastcoastentertainment.com. WOW! The band even had a costume change and they grooved into the night (check out their red shoes.) Congrats to Sara and Lucas!
As Maggie and Thomas walked back up the aisle for the first time as husband and wife, “All you need is love!” was being played. One could not help but smile as you could feel their true joy. They were married on Saturday at the Tidewater Chapel www.tidewaterchapel.com. The event was planned by David Singleton who also did all the flowers and it was catered by Hamby’s www.hambycatering.com. This was a true celebration. I think you can tell by the dance floor pictures that everyone had a great time and loved the band www.oceandrivepartyband.com. The last song to play was “Piano Man” by Billy Joel and the entire crowd came together as one and just sang and swayed together to the song. The night ended with a noisemaker serenade to an awaiting black cab. Cheers Maggie and Thomas!
