What do you do if it starts raining the minute you are about to walk down the aisle? Well, if you are Brittany and Ben, you smile and go! Brittany and Ben were married at Legare Waring House on Saturday March 26, 2011. The ceremony might have been a little rainy, but it was beautiful and sweet. Sara at Southern Protocol www.southernprotocol.com planned a flawless event. Hair and Makeup were done on site by Kim and Jennifer at www.specialeventshairandmakeup.com. The wedding was filled with so many exceptional details, I need another post for the reception. Anne at Charleston Stems www.charlestonstems.com did it once again with flowers that were fabulous. I loved the yellow pops of color in the bouquets. Stay tuned for more from this breathtaking wedding.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing sweet Connor who recently turned 6 months old. His mom brought this great red rocking chair for him to sit in, which looked great at Charles Towne Landing where we met for the session. I especially liked when he discovered his own shadow. He is just the cutest thing ever, from beginning to end, he was all smiles.
They say that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck- well, Angelica and Sean were certainly lucky on their wedding day! It poured down rain that morning and the clouds broke away into sun just hours before their outdoor ceremony. Lizz at Southern Protocol southernprotocol.com planned this stunning wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation patpropllc.com. The flowers were done by Anne at Stems charlestonstems.com and once again, all I can say is “WOW!” Angelica’s talented sister did the cupcakes, invitations, and even all the hair for the Bride and Bridesmaids. With the ceremony and reception all in one place, we had a little extra time to take some more shots of the sweet Bride and Groom, and with the scenic views and amazing sunset we had no shortage of places and spots to use. Uncle Funkal was great, they played a jazzy cocktail hour and then jammed on into the reception. Congrats Angelica and Sean!
On February 19th at the William Aiken House www.patpropllc.com, Alison married Matt in a ceremony in front of the Carriage House. It was another divine Southern Protocol www.southernprotocol.com event planned by Lizz. The flowers were by Anne at Stems www.charlestonstems.com. With the exquisite flowers and decor- both these ladies always make my job so easy. Invitations and logo designed by Scotti Cline Designs- so cohesive and pretty www.scotticlinedesigns.com. Alison and Matt did a first glance before the ceremony which was so sweet. Uncle Funkal is one of my favorite bands and they rocked it! I loved this wedding
The other day I got the opportunity to photograph some of the instructors and advanced students at Bikram Yoga Charleston www.bikramcharleston.com at their studio. These photos will be used for some merchandise, etc for the studio. I am always amazed when I see an advanced student or an instructor go into these poses. It doesn’t seem possible to get your body to bend that way! Check out these talented athletes-
