Tonight I met Laurel and Hunter downtown for their engagement session. The weather was gorgeous, and we walked, and walked, and walked. I loved it! We even hit a few of their favorite places including Johnson’s Pub which is where they met! This is the best time of year in Charleston and Laurel and Hunter were a pleasure to photograph. See you soon for the wedding!

Erin and John were married at 2:30 pm on Saturday on Folly Beach. This was a wedding I had been looking forward to all year! The wedding was planned by Amie and Gayle at Elizabeth Grace Occasions www.elizabethgraceoccasions.com and Gayle’s husband Chris officiated the ceremony. Amie and Gayle planned a beautiful day and were so great to work with. Catering was done by Crazy Dutchman Catering www.crazydutchmancatering.com and Karen and Hans had the most delicious food there. The bacon-wrapped scallops looked and smelled wonderful, and did not last long
Erin and John are Irish and met on Saint Patrick’s Day! At the end of the night, after the sparklers, they had planned a surprise Irish party for their family and friends. This wedding was one I will always remember! Congratulations to Erin and John!

Susie and Jon were married Friday evening at 6:00 pm at the Gazebo at the Battery. A reception followed at Poogan’s Porch. Susie and Jon wanted a small, initimate and sweet wedding and did a wonderful job planning it, because that is exactly what they got! We had some time to stroll around and take some pictures around Charleston- which I loved. Jon does the Ghost tours around town and he had all the insider tips on where to go. I also learned some really cool history about some of my favorite locations. Susie had daisies put in her bouquet (just like her mother’s) and she and Jon used her Grandparent’s rings. It was very touching to see all the special details she and Jon had included in their day. Congratulations to Susie and Jon!

Yesterday at 5:30 pm Amy and Heath were married at the Inn at Middleton Place. I have photographed weddings at Middleton Place Plantation, but my first at the Inn so I was excited to see it. I was also happy that Pamela Lesch www.makeupartistcharleston.com was doing Amy’s makeup. Amy looked flawless. The ceremony was performed out in the courtyard and they had a really cute ringbearer (see below
The reception moved into the Lakehouse and the guests filled the dance floor until the very last song. Everyone had a great time and I was so happy to be photographing this wonderful couple and their sweet families! Congratulations to Amy and Heath!!

Today I photographed Katie, who turned one yesterday. If you are ready for extreme cuteness, scroll down
Her mom brought a cupcake for her to dive into at the very end of our shoot, and I was so glad she did! Happy Birthday Katie!

Yesterday at 5:00pm at Debordieu Colony in Georgetown, SC Anna and Hunter were married on the beach. This couple is so great, so kind and they have the most wonderful families (Anna’s sister officiated the ceremony!) I was in heaven photographing this beautiful wedding. Anna picked blue and green for their colors and the color of the ocean made the colors just pop out. I felt like I was in the Caribbean! Hunter and Anna both share a love of fishing (see the coozies:) and they are just a perfect fit. I was lucky enough to get to come to the rehearsal dinner the night before and to get to know them a little more as well as all of their families. Kelly was the wedding co-ordinator at Debordieu www.debordieuclub.com, and she made this wedding come together without a hitch and she was so kind to Emily and I. Sawgrass band played bluegrass and Grateful Dead during the reception and they were awesome, it was a challenge not to tap my foot and clap! Congratulations to Hunter and Anna-have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!
