This afternoon I met Randy and Nicole for their engagement session.  Little did we know when we planned this session a couple of months ago that one of the best sporting events of the year would be on at the same time (the USA vs. Canada Hockey game!)  Randy was such a good sport about it!  I had a great time with them walking around Boone Hall Plantation.   It is such a beautiful place and Randy and Nicole were so fun to photograph.  I can not wait for the wedding in August.  Here are a few from our day…

Emily just turned one and her parents contacted me to do some portraits of her.  I loved the Tutu.  How cute is this little lady?  Happy Birthday Emily!

Ann at Sugah Cakes www.sugahcakes.com asked me to photograph some of her new custom cookies.  They are not only beautiful, but also delicious (of course I had to try them out to get a true vision of what I was photographing!)  Ann tells me that these are fully customizable- they can monogram, match bow colors to invitations, etc. and they are perfect for baby showers, weddings, rehearsal dinners and parties.  Prices start at $1.95/cookie.  Now that’s what I am talking about!  (864) 585.3228

My daughter’s favorite thing is animals.  Any kind, she likes all of them.  She has always really loved dolphins and killer whales (and she tells us she can actually speak their language My mother-in-law promised her she would take her to swim with the dolphins once she learned how to swim all by herself.  As promised, Grandma took her this past weekend to Discovery Cove in Florida where she met “Cailey” her new friend.  I think it might have been the best day of her life so far!

A couple of days before Christmas, I met Katie for her Bridal Portrait in downtown Charleston.  I did not want to spoil the surprise by showing these before the wedding, so I waited until now.  Katie and James were married January 30, 2010 (see a few posts back) and I thought she made a beautiful bride.  Here are a few from her bridal portrait session.

Last friday I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Mexico to attend an old friend’s wedding.  Tyler married his college sweetheart Jena at 5:00pm at The Tides Resort in Playa Riviera (in between Cancun and Playa del Carmen.) They had a traditional Mayan Ceremony- which was so breathtaking and sweet to see.  It was performed by an actual Shamen.  I was not the photographer for the day, but I snapped a few from the audience because I could not resist   Here are a few that I captured from their day.  Congrats to Jena and Tyler.
