What a way to start 2010! It might have been a cold and rainy day, but these were some of the warmest families I have ever worked with. Katie and James were married yesterday at 2:00 at St. Lukes Chapel with a reception that followed at the Creek Club in I’On. I loved photographing some of the special details of the day, including Katie’s bouquet (which had buttons from her Mother’s wedding dress) and the buckeye treats for all the Ohio connections. Rory and Alecia with Jubilation www.jubilationsc.com planned the event and not only did they do a wonderful job, they were fun to work with as well. Cheers to Katie and James!!

Yesterday afternoon I was thrilled to photograph Caron’s first birthday party. This little guy has a special place in my heart, I had photographed his mom Caycee when she was pregnant with him and have been lucky enough to photograph him again throughout his first year. Check out how fun of a party they threw for him. It was a monkey theme– complete with a monkey cake for the guests and a banana cake for Carson to dive into (which he actually did!) There was a bounce house outside and she even had a yellow and green colored candy bar that was so cute! Here are a few pictures from the birthday bash. Happy Birthday Carson!

Over the weekend I photographed Julie and her family. She had contacted me to photograph the entire family together (which does not get a chance to happen very often with half the family on the west coast.) It was also a special occasion for the family, they were celebrating their mom Amelia’s 60th Birthday! The weather made the planning a little tricky, but I am so glad we got a chance to do the session. Happy Birthday Amelia!
