Yesterday at 5:30 pm, Amber and Brandon were married at Hampton Park in Charleston, South Carolina. A reception followed at High Cotton Restaurant also in Charleston. This was one of my favorite weddings this year! I could not wait to get home to see the photos (and as you can tell from the large number of photos, I loved quite a few of them.) Amber arrived by rickshaw into the ceremony. The ceremony was small, intimate, and very sweet. High Cotton had impeccable service, and fabulous atmosphere. Cheers to Amber and Brandon!

Tonight, Anne Bowen from ASB Flowers www.asbflowers.com asked me to come photograph a few of her pieces that were at the Wells Gallery www.wellsgallery.com for the Palette and Palate Stroll. Her arrangements were so different and cool. If you looked closely, you would see, that is not a basket the flowers were in, but spaghetti! There were vegetables and food (like the pasta and beans) mixed in with the flowers, perfect for the theme of the show. Here are a few pictures of her beautiful arrangements:

Tonight Charleston weather struck again! It was cloudy all afternoon with no rain. Right as we both parked our cars at 6:00 –rain! We all pulled out our phones and checked the radar and decided to wait it out, and I am so glad we did. Stephanie and Aaron were so much fun to work with. I can not wait for the wedding. The weather held out long enough for us to do a clothing change and a change of location. Here are a few that I loved from today.

Every year we visit my sisters up in Connecticut for the 4th of July. There are so many fun things to do. There is the annual parade, fireworks, and a symphony on the Green. My daughter tried lobster for the very first time and liked it. We also got to take a boat ride with the cousins. The kids were so sad to come home. Here are a few pictures from our trip.
