“It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future.”
Today I photographed the Local Trident Health System employee campaign for the Trident United Way. These amazing people all volunteer for the United Way, it is a great organization that helps many people. Please visit www.liveunited.org to see how you can help too.

I photographed these images tonight at a wedding at Middleton Place. It is so beautiful there. Around every corner was something amazing. The weather could not have been more perfect for an outdoor wedding. Here are some of my favorites from the night….

One of the best things about being a photographer is that I never really know what I will be photographing next. Today I had one of the more interesting assignments which was to do a photo essay on the Frederick Shaffer house on Calhoun Street, downtown Charleston. Not only is the house filled with rich details and light, the house also has a history filled with dark scandal and intrigue. Across the street from the house is the Bethel Methodist Church. Some of these images are taken in the cemetery there.

Last night my daughter’s team the Kickers defeated the Bees! This is a picture of Alexandra, Sarah, and Macey warming up before the game. Thanks to Coach Lannie, who does a wonderful job with this team!

Yesterday was busy, fun, and rainy! You can’t really tell by looking at the photographs, but it was rainy and windy mostly all day. We almost got caught in a big downpour on Sullivan’s doing the Murphy Family and the Hughes Family photos, but we just made it! You can see from the last picture the big storm in the background! I also photographed the Ungers at Hampton Park here in Charleston.

Yesterday at Five O’Clock, Mica Rowland and Andrew Dolan were married at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church on John’s Island, SC. My assistant Lizz and I had a wonderful time getting to know and photographing this amazing family. The Reception was held downtown Charleston at the Hibernian Hall. We voted and agreed, this family can dance! This was the best version of the Thriller dance that either of us had seen at a reception. Cheers to Andrew and Mica!
